"How to See" is a collaborative visual index by Tomás Carlson.

While computational vision typically serves surveillance or commerce, this project asks whether these tools can be recalibrated to surface more human, ephemeral qualities in our images. Photographs are analyzed and marked with geometric overlays that translate algorithmic readings into visible, expressive language.
